So following the curtain-down on City Shorts a week and a half ago, we’ve had a little rest and time to reflect and here are some thoughts on how it all went:
We were utterly delighted with our cast and crew members and feel privileged to have work with so many talented and lovely people. There wasn’t a single diva strop to be seen! There was a real feeling of community within the cast and crew which made for a delightful backstage atmosphere.
The Rosemary Branch team were wonderful hosts and made all 19 of us feel at home. They deserve a shout-out for being such a supportive venue for emerging artists and new work.
We were very pleased with the ticket sales – particularly selling out Saturday night! The audiences were very talkative post-show, the pieces seemed to really spark people’s interest and we enjoyed hearing the many different responses to the show as a whole.
Here are some views from the press:

A Younger Theatre:
‘London Grey and Green Theatre Company […] must be commended for an evening of challenging and passionate new writing. […] City Shorts should […] be celebrated for its portrayal of women’.
